It has been a great while since I have blogged.  I think I am in a funk and am trying to get out of it.  I also started to work on a new project that has somehow completely consumed my time.  Believe it or not it is not sewing but it is creative.  I am too shy to share any details of it but so far I am enjoying it and it is something I never believed I had the talent to do.  I still don’t - but I decided to throw caution to the wind and try it anyway, even if it ends up being only for me.  I think it has somehow been therapeutic for me.  So I am sorry for not being around as I should and I do miss and think of you all often.  Do not think I have forgotten all of my wonderful friends here.  With KCRF coming up I do plan on lots of photography and I hope that is something everyone can enjoy!

Greetings all my friends!  I first want to say I am sorry I have not been on here very much lately but life has a way of doing that.  Our dear Hatchet sister Sheila was in town last Friday and we had such a good time.  It is so wonderful to meet the people that mean so much to me on Renspace.  My hubs was thrilled because he was assuming that I just had imaginary friends, :-)!!  Here is one photo of the 4 hatchets together - Christel, Krista, Sheila and me.  I have more and I will post them later tonight in my "Party Pics" in my gallery if you would like to see them.

Also a big congrats out to our dear Hatchet sister, Krista.  She will be appearing in a show at KCRF named "Sweet Tarts".  I got a glimpse of the script and it is one you will not want to miss!

Also THANK you to all of you for checking on our family in Des Moines.  Where they are is fine but the area is a mess and the situation was quite frightening for them for my hub's mother does not live to far from down town.  I feel so bad for all the people  in Cedar Falls and all the areas effected by the flood.  May you all be safe.

Well it is almost here.  Bonnie Pearl is I am sure on her way!!!!!!!  So we will have a gathering tonight of the hens!!  We will toast each and everyone of you and I will be sure to take some photos!!!!!!!!!!!!!
